Utah National Parks

I am a BIG fan of all the incredible things Utah has going on. Primarily, her gorgeous National Parks.

Getting eloped in a National Park is an amazing idea for several reasons. First, your big day will be a never-ending view of breathtaking scenery and moments. Second, you can have your closest family and friends celebrate with you in a place that neither you nor them will ever forget. National Parks provide a beautiful backdrop for photographs and videos too! Not only will your special moments look amazing…but they will feel amazing! 

If you’ve been questioning where you and your lover should tie the knot… Any of these Utah National Parks would be the perfect answer!

 

Zion’s National Park

Zion National Park offers stunning views of red rocks, beginner to advanced hiking trails, biking and automobile routes and tunnels, and of course marriage/elopement services! Getting married at Zion requires a special permit. Arches National Park

Arches National Park displays rock formations and arches unlike any others you’ve ever seen! Getting married here would be a dream come true. Arches offers 9 different wedding locations within the park! Each location has a varying group size limit. The special permit required at Arches costs a total of $185.00 after the application, administrative and management fees. Bryce Canyon National Park

Bryce Canyon National Park offers a gorgeous landscape and two wonderful wedding locations. They graciously wave the entrance fee for the bride, groom, and officiant performing the ceremony. Canyonlands National Park

Canyonlands National Park is actually the highest desert in the Colorado Plateau! It is filled with beautiful rock formations and rivers.  This park offers three breathtaking wedding locations. Group size is limited to 25 people and the permit fee totals $185.00. For more information on this stunning National Park, or to get your wedding permit, click here. 

Capitol Reef National Park

Capitol Reef National Park is a land of beauty for sure. If you decided to elope here, you will have the simple, rustic, wedding of your dreams! The permits to get married here only cost $50.00!  You can schedule your wedding up to one year in advance, but no later than seven days in advance. Snow Canyon in St. George, UT

This place has got the goods. Snow Canyon offers beautiful scenery, fun places to explore, and lots of places to stay! The application fee is $100.00 and additional fees may apply. For more info on getting married here, click on this.

Kanab, UT

Kanab, UT gives you the choice between sand dunes or red cliffs! Either way is a win! Kanab is a small town and has plenty of places to stay! To check out the coral pink sand dunes, see here.

Boulder Mountain, UT

Boulder Mountain is right next to Capitol Reef and is the home of Hell’s Backbone Grill & Farm Hell’s Backbone Grill & Farm . AND my all time favorite place to stay!

Wherever you choose, make sure to do a few things! Check with the park about any additional information you might need, you will most likely need to arrange for someone to perform the ceremony for you!  And most importantly, be sure to get a UTAH wedding license ($40.00) at any County Clerk Office!!
