I am an adventure seeking, light chasing, chocolate addict who loves all things romantic! I grew up surfing in sunny southern California, chasing waves and watching the sunsets over the water. I think it was all those days at the beach watching the light and the water dance that made me fall in love with warm light and sunsets. Chasing light, warm sunny photos and keeping it real is what do best. I am always seeking out new ways to grow and learn.
I specialize in film photography, I love the feeling and aesthetic a film image provokes. Film has pushed me creatively to become a more thoughtful and artful photographer. Shooting in film really forces me to slow down and conceptualize the image before clicking the shutter. This allows me to offer my clients artful and timeless imagery of their wedding day.
MEET HEATHER
The colors of film images are classic and true to life, I value this because when my couple's view their images I want it to take them back to that moment in time so they can relive the feelings of that moment.
I am a hybrid photographer, meaning I shoot in both digital and film, so my clients get the best of both worlds. In the age of instant everything it may be hard to believe that I still choose film photography, but I have always loved the timeless look of film and I believe it is worth the wait! My images will produce a joyful storytelling of your love story. I enjoy documenting the love stories of couples all over the world. I strive to provide my couples with a stress-free wedding experience, along with images they can cherish for a lifetime.
I live in Temecula CA with my husband, 3 kids and Golden Doodle. We love taking day trips to the beach, camping, date nights at the wineries and bonfires with the neighbors. I love all things chocolate but a gourmet chocolate cupcake is my favorite. When I am not shooting a wedding or running kids to around, you will likely find me on my yoga mat, hiking, or exploring.
I am a full time hybrid wedding photographer based in Southern California. As much as I love CA I also enjoy traveling and exploring the world to document love and meet new couples! I feel very lucky to be able to follow my dreams and my passion and work as a wedding photographer. I am happy you stopped by and I hope my work will put a smile on your face.
