I first met Karly and Keven at their engagement session in American Fork! They traveled all the way to Utah from Colorado for their killer (and cold) photo session.
For their wedding, it was my turn to travel! And boy was it worth it! They got married on her family ranch in Meeker Colorado. And let me just say, this ranch was no Hidden Valley..(OK, I’m sorry but can I get a high five for that one please?) It. Was. Beautiful. It was definitely a road trip worth taking.
Every thing about this wedding was awesome. The night before, I drove across the states and enjoyed a beautiful sunset after the rehearsal dinner. Food. Sunsets. Love in the air. It doesn’t get much better than that. Am I right? The night I got there, Karly gave me and my second shooter, Marissa, a ride around the ranch on her side by side. It was so fun!! I didn’t know that I felt this way before, but after this wedding, I strongly believe that every wedding should have an ATV tour.
The morning of the wedding, I had brunch with all the girls at the Airbnb house. It was ALL the delicious food, drinks and the best company. They went all out! Karly popped some champagne because she was changing her last name! It was so exciting. Everyone got ready at the Airbnb after that, and there were SO MANY cute details and moments captured.
You guys- this wedding was like a movie. The one where the perfect couple gets married under tall dreamy trees, only it was better. It was real life. Karly and Keven’s life. Holy crap I just want to live this wedding day over an over again! There was definitely tears as Karly walked down the aisle. Most were from in front of the camera, but I’d be lying if I said I no tears were shed behind the lens. It was so touching.
I dont know if this is a trend, or if I just really attract couples who love pizza ..but either way I am happy about it. Their pizza buffet was catered by a local joint and was probably the best I’ve ever had. There was drinks, a party, and dancing all night long. LIKE, all night! Honestly it was perfect.
Oh and after the party, Karly and Keven ran off to a fancy wall tent by the river so that they could wake up and go fishing in the morning. Uhhhh yes, please !!!
Their wedding day was romantic, happy, and beautiful! I loved every second of capturing their beautiful wedding day!
